Mead Labs uses a state of the art saliva test that measures only the active parts of each type of hormone. This FDA approved test uses 4 saliva samples that you collect 4 times throughout the day at times that are convenient for you. It takes 2-3 minutes to collect each saliva sample, after which the entire kit is mailed back to Mead Labs in the self-addressed, postage paid box that was included with the test kit.

A self-addressed, postage paid box is included with your test kit. Once Mead Labs has received your test kit, results are available quickly. You will receive a paper copy for your permanent records.

Once you have received a copy of your results, contact Mead Labs to schedule a telephone consultation with our highly trained medical staff. After a review of your individual pattern of hormones and symptoms, recommendations will be made to bring your hormones back into a healthy balance.

After the telephone conversation with the medical staff, we will recommend an individually tailored supplement program to meet your specific needs. Depending on your particular hormone imbalance, this can include bio-identical skin creams as well as oral supplements. These can usually be purchased from the same location that you purchased your kit.

After 4 months you'll retest your hormone levels with another saliva kit. Often after the initial test the recommended program brings your hormone pattern back into a healthy, range. Sometimes adjustments to your recommendations will be needed, as healthier function is restored. Each time you send in a saliva kit your results are reviewed by the medical staff at Mead Labs who will explain the results in a free consultation.
